Hello. My Name is Lisa Sung. I am the founder of Fog City Paws, a dog walker, dog trainer, and pet sitter. Lots of people ask me why I started this business. The idea of becoming a dog trainer came to me during my search for a dog companion via adoption. The search for my dog, Tito, had inspired me to turn my love of animals into a career. While looking for a dog to adopt, I had the opportunity to read through many listings of shelter and rescue dogs and the reason why they were there. Majority of them are due to behavior problems. I realized most of the dogs could of been saved from being rehomed with a bit of training and a lot of exercise. As I read more the more into every adoption listing, I found myself wanting to help and be part of the solution. So I started studying dog training courses with Animal Behavior College. This had started me on a very natural path of dog walking. I also want to help train adoptable dogs so they may have a greater chance of success in getting adopted to a perminant home. so I am proud to be able to offer my time as a TLC Volunteer to the Penninsula Humane Society and SPCA. I hope to work in the Second chance program.
I've been around animals all my life. I have experiences with birds, snakes, turtles, fishes, cats, bunnies, and dogs. My husband, Kelvin, and I have found our little guy online last year, and adopted him. We believe he is a little terrier/herding mix. We found him at the Short and Sweet rescue in North California using www.petfinder.com

Pet Sitting service is just plain O fun for me. I'm like the favorite aunt, there to spoil and have fun with. I started this side of business because I had the same need for this exact service in the past. My trouble was finding the right doggy hotel, or kennel for Tito and my old cat. Cats is more comfortable at home and don't like to be forced to be in a cat kennel with other subordinate cats =) When you have multiple species, living in the same home, it is hard to board them all. Sometimes, you have a puppy and Kennels do not allow dogs under certain age. I wanted to offer pet owners a peace of mind when they are away.
