A Typical Day
We will pick your pooch up with our ultra comfortable ride. We have a plush cargo liner for your dog's comfort and a divider to keep the dogs safe and separated from the driver during the ride. Depending on the energy and size of the dogs, we first take the dogs to the park or beach trails for a brisk and vigorous walk, then free time to socialize, play fetch, or lay in the sun with a couple of paws. Finally we will take the dogs for a cool down stroll back to the car where they will get a treat and fresh water for a day well played. Your pooch will enjoy a relaxing ride back home in a well ventilated and temperature controlled vehicle. Their feet gets wiped clean and dropped off in your home tails wagging. FogCityPaws only use All Natural Dog Treats.
You might not be able to visit the beach everyday, but your dogs can!
*Dog Walks will continue rain or shine. Unless emergency, cancellation will only be accepted 2 days in advance.
Where do we go?
We frequent Fort Funston, Stern Grove Park, Chrissy Field, Ocean Beach, Pine Lake Park, Golden Gate Park, Park Presidio, Mountain Water Park, and many other dog friendly parks. Including travel time, your dog will typically be out of the house 1.5 hours to 2 hours per visit. Water will always be provided. Don't worry, your pooches will arrive home free of mud or sand. I don't want my dog come home dirty and I'm sure you don't want that either.
How do we introduce the dogs to each other in group walks?
Your pooches will be introduced to other dogs slowly, one at a time. First time travel in the car will be apart from the rest of the dogs. When we arrive at the park, the new dog will be leashed and introduced to the pack. With many yummy treats for good behavior, they will love each other in no time. Food Treats overcomes fear!
How do we group them?
We group our dogs based on size, temperament, age, and individual needs. We are a boutique walker, this means that we only walk 4 to 6 dogs at a time. The same person will always pick up your dog and we keep the same group of dogs together so they can bond and form a tight pack. Your dog becomes a part of the family and we treat them so.
Green?
We use biodegradable poop bags. We provide water in a reusable pouch and healthy treats along the way. If you need us to put food and water out for your dog in your home, we can do that too. Like I have said, we are the best and your dogs deserve our best.
Giving Back.
FogCityPaws' committed to helping your paws achieve a long happy and healthy life with exercise and companionship. We are also proud to be part of many shelters and rescues in the Bay Area. We donate one hour of our dog walking services to new adoption owners. Just show proof of adoption and your pooch gets a FREE walk on us.
Requirements
*Must be able to show that all shots are current
*Dog must arrive clean and treated for ticks and fleas
*Must be completely house trained (no incessant barking, whining, or chewing; no toy or food aggression)
*Must be friendly and sociable to other people and dogs
*Must wear dog license and ID tag on the collar
